Semi-hermetic, suction gas-cooled 8-cylinder reciprocating compressor in
compact design with optimized valve plate system “mexxFlow”. “mexxflow” is a
highly efficient and reliable valve plate system with higher refrigeration
capacity at lower power consumption. The compressor shows best possible
serviceability (e.g. by means of a replaceable drive motor), outstanding running
comfort and efficient operating performance. The suction cover can be rotated by
90° in each instance. Dependable mechanism lubrication is guaranteed by means of
an oil pump which is independent of rotating direction, as well as a
large-volume oil sump. The optional oil sump heater is using an immersion sleeve
and can therefore be replaced without intervening in the refrigeration cycle. A
direct connection facility for an oil level regulator is possible on one of the
three standard sight glasses. The large-volume electric terminal box in solid
metal design has easy quick-release fasteners. The electronic motor protection
INT69G uses PTC sensors to monitor the winding temperature (as standard
equipment) and optional the discharge gas temperature.
