Semi-hermetic suction gas-cooled reciprocating compressor in compact design
of machine category 3 according to directive 2014/34/EU. Intended for use in
refrigeration systems inside explosion-endangered areas of the zone 2 (according
to ATEX Directive 1999/92/EG). The compressor complies with the following
ATEX classification according to the EC type examination
certificate:
- Standard painting: II 3G Ex db eb mb nA nC IIC T3 Gc (compressor with
conductive coating)
- Offhsore painting: II 3G Ex db eb mb nA nC IIB T3 Gc (compressor with
insulating coating)
In addition, the compressor has an
IECEx
approval with the following marking:
- Standard painting: Ex db eb mb nA nC IIC T3 Gc (compressor with conductive
coating)
- Offhsore painting: Ex db eb mb nA nC IIB T3 Gc (compressor with insulating
coating).

The compressor stands out due to its outstanding running comfort and
efficient operating performance. Dependable mechanism lubrication is guaranteed
by means of an oil pump which is independent of rotating direction, as well as a
large-volume oil sump.
As standard an electronic trigger unit is monitoring the motor temperature
via PTC sensors and each cylinder cover via special thermal heat protection
thermostats (accessory) concerning the discharge end temperature. The electronic
trigger unit is supplied separately for installation in the switchboard (outside
the EX zone).
